You don’t see many videos that are primarily delivered in silence and mostly use captions to tell the story.
It really hits differently and challenges you as a creator to think differently about how you present footage.
It reminded me of this video I saw a few months ago.

But, there’s something crucial the above example gets right that’s missing from the video in question…
The title mentions Barcelona, but we don’t see any of it.
Mentioning a specific location sets the expectation that we’re going to see how the lifestyle there from elsewhere.
But, in this video, Lamine could just as well be a software engineer in any country.
He could either change the title or, preferably, shoot some genuine B-Roll of the city itself, where he lives, where he goes to college, etc.
This would give context to the locations he travels to, and make us feel truly like we’re living a day in his life with him.
Related to the above, the one time we might have seen some of the city, Lamine holds the camera super low down, so all we see is the sky.
